Video Content Marketing Plan Template for Software Teams: Spreadsheet and PDF, Built Around Tasks Not Campaigns

A task inventory sheet you can open in any spreadsheet, plus a one-page guide to filling it in. One row per task, two columns you already have the data for, and a priority that falls out of them.

Most video plan templates are content calendars: channels down one side, months across the top. This one is an inventory. One row per task your product can do, scored on two numbers you already own, with the priority falling out of the score rather than out of a meeting.

The CSV opens in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets or anything else, and carries two clearly-marked example rows so the shape is obvious. The PDF explains every column in a line and sets out the six-step method on one page.

It is deliberately boring. A plan you can keep up to date beats a deck that was accurate in March.

What's inside

  • A 13-column task inventory: task, product area, search demand, ticket count, priority, mode, languages, platform exceptions, version tag, owner, status, video URL, last verified
  • Two worked example rows, marked as examples so they cannot be mistaken for your data
  • A line explaining what belongs in every column, and where to get it without inventing it
  • The six-step method: inventory, score, prioritise, choose mode, fix languages, bind to a version
  • The priority rule that decides what gets recorded first, and why it is usually not what marketing expected
